Crypto Chess

A chess variation in which 2 players try to defeat each other using typical chess but also financial strategic skill by checkmating or running out of money. The chessboard is empty at the start. For each round and for each piece captured, a player receives chess coins with which he can buy up to 10 new pieces and place them on his half of the board. 

Which strategy will you follow? Do you want to put your opponent under pressure quickly with clever moves or do you want to defeat your opponent with more powerful but also more expensive pieces or pursue a completely different strategy?
